Pastor Dan and Mrs. Kryssi Kitinoja
Pastor Dan grew up in a Christian home in Cleveland, OH. but for seven years he says “I lived like I didn’t really know or believe in Jesus. But in my mid 20’s I had a life-changing encounter with Jesus that radically changed my life. Soon after that, I began actively serving in the youth ministry of my church.” Pastor Dan says “During that two-year period of service I had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to El Salvador. It was there that I first sensed God calling me into ministry. I did not know much about what God wanted me to do, I only knew that I was called to study the Bible so that I could teach it to others so that they can apply it in life.” Since then, Pastor Dan has earned two master’s degrees in biblical and Theological studies as well as a doctorate in Family Ministry. During that time, Dr. Dan served as both a youth pastor and a senior pastor. A self-described recovering youth pastor, Dr. Dan still emphasizes teaching and preaching the Bible for life change and life application. Dan met his wife Kryssi on a blind date in 2005. They have been married since 2007 and have four children together (Kenny, Austin, Carter, and Trinity). “For fun, I like to lift weights, although it isn’t as much fun as it used to be. I like to play basketball also not as much fun as it used to be, enjoy coffee, and hanging out with friends and family. My family loves to travel and visit amusement parks—and play in the snow! We hope that you will join us for worship soon.”
Brother Alex and Mrs. Bailie Cundiff
Alex grew up in a Christian home, where he was introduced to God at an early age. However, it wasn’t until high school that he realized his faith had been more about routine than a genuine relationship with Christ. In 2008, during their senior year at Oakwood High School, Alex began dating Bailie. They married in 2014 and are blessed with two children, Jade and Caleb. Bailie and her family played a pivotal role in Alex’s spiritual growth, encouraging him to deepen his walk with the Lord. In 2021, during a family vacation, Alex felt a clear calling from God to lead worship at Calvary, where Bailie had grown up. By the fall of 2022, they returned to Calvary and were embraced with love and open arms by the church family. Alex is passionate about introducing new songs to the congregation and creatively reimagining traditional hymns. His heart for worship goes beyond stylistic preferences, focusing instead on fostering unity within the body of Christ through music. As Music Director, Alex selects and arranges songs for worship services, working closely with the Praise Team to coordinate musicians and vocalists. He is committed to leading the congregation in heartfelt worship that glorifies God and draws people closer to Him.
